VCT leads the way! Did you know flooring is a natural tool for wayfinding? Using unique motifs, bright pops of color and familiar shapes, specially designed VCT flooring can direct and encourage flow of movement within a building. Wayfinding through the use of flooring in schools and healthcare facilities can contribute to a sense of safety and understanding in unfamiliar places.

Durability is a hallmark of our VCT flooring. No need to worry about heavy foot traffic, scratches, scuffs or rolling load impacts. VCT is designed with a true through color pattern construction. This ensures that the color and design are consistent throughout the thickness of the tile. So, as the surface wears or becomes damaged, the appearance of the tile won't change. It all adds up to a flooring product that delivers long-life value. No wonder VCT is so popular with facility managers!
INSTALLATION
Every VCT tile is constructed with our Fast Start® Factory Finish. This coating helps installers tell the difference between the top and the bottom of the tile, minimizing any installation errors. The Fast Start finish also saves time on the initial maintenance.
MAINTENANCE
After installation, we recommend these steps to ensure a beautiful floor:
- Sweep, dust mop or vacuum the floor to remove loose dust, dirt, and debris.
- Damp mop the floor with a properly diluted cleaner, like S-485 Commercial Floor Cleaner.
- Apply at least two coats of a high-quality commercial floor polish, like S-480 Commercial Floor Polish, to temporarily protect the floor until regular maintenance procedures can begin.

We recycle leftover VCT from our Kankakee, IL, plant to make new VCT.

Safety Zone™ Tile is our slip-retardant flooring that has an embossed surface to reduce slips and falls in wet and humid areas. Excelon® SDT™ (Static Dissipative Tile) is our VCT solution for controlling static in non-explosive manufacturing areas and rooms with sensitive electronic equipment.
